Sustainable Communities Day

The Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition and the All of Belfast Climate dialogue are co-sponsoring a series of talks and exhibits focused on how individuals and communities can integrate sustainability strategies into the development of buildings and landscapes. Come learn how you and your community can contribute to creating a more sustainable and climate resilient place to live.

Doors open to the public at 12:30. Starting at 1:00 PM we will hear about the City of Belfast Climate Action Plan and the output from a citywide dialogue on the challenges presented by a changing climate sponsored by the Belfast Free Library. Efficiency Maine will provide an overview of opportunities for rebates associated with investments in home heating and energy efficiency solutions. Methods to create sustainable landscape in your yards and in our community will also be covered.
