Needlepoint Sanctuary Volunteer Training: How to Run a Warming Shelter

  • UUSB 120 Park Street Bangor, ME, 04401 United States (map)

On November 18th we will be doing our fall volunteer training. This event will start with a community circle where we'll discuss ways we can better support each other as a community and get community feedback about future ideas for events, training, and the like. From there the majority of the training will focus on How to run a warming center where we will discuss February's warming center and train volunteers for future such events. Please feel free to share the attached flyer about the event.

As always, outreach occurs every Saturday from 1-3PM at Pickering Square. Anyone interested in volunteering who hasn't done so is encouraged to reach out to us at 207-505-1510. We typically meet at 120 Park Street at 11am to prepare for outreach.
