Join us for two special public events in April about the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978, (ICWA), widely considered the gold standard in child welfare policy.
Because of wonderful collaborative relationships, we are able to offer two in-person screenings of the broadcast version of Dawnland each followed by a panel discussion. Dawnland is the Emmy award winning film about the work of Wabanaki REACH and the Maine Wabanaki-State Child Welfare Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
At the Bangor Public Library 5:30pm-8:00pm
