Welcome to the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine website. Returning visitors will notice that the site format has been revised. This format should be considered provisional, pending YOUR INPUT. Hopefully these changes will improve the experience of some visitors who have seen “overlap” problems because of the width of our old template. Please post your comments below…

This is the first comment. I like this new theme for the Peace Center site because it is a lot sunnier and does not break down in narrow windows. But can’t you guys figure out how to put up some sort of calendar?

Hi, I can post a comment, even though I’m not logged in. We like having an open discussion here. It’s what a website is all about.

We need those of you who use our website to help us improve it. Is this site working for you?

The new website is awesome an its great to see it is being updated so frequently with the latest events and news. I would like to see brighter colors like those in the blue and yellow tones of the HOPE letters rather than the pale green and gold. Ilze

Wonderful site…Thanks so much…One change….It should read “We hope these changes, etc…”

“Hopefully” is an adverb and means ” full of hope” not ” I hope or we hope.”
“These changes full of hope will improve etc.” That doesn’t mean anything.

Thanks for the comments, G. “Hopefully” modifies “will improve.” Sorry, it is a passive construction and could have been written better. But it is grammatically proper and no other reader has been confused about the meaning as far as I know.
