I suggest that, either for Memorial Day in May, or with next Veterans’ Day in mind, the Center consider purchasing and selling/distributing the white “peace poppies” as a symbol of our commitment to peace. The Peace Pledge Union in the UK supplies them. I’ve ordered a few for myself and friends.

They could be sold as a fundraiser and/or distributed at venues like the Hope Festival or marches with Vets for Peace.
They stand as a symbol of respectful remembrance of all wars’ victims, civilian or military, and of hope for a peaceful future.
