Hands of Peace
This year’s Hands of Peace Award recipients are Larry Dansinger, peace and justice activist and founder of Resources for Organizing and Social Change, and Kira Pilot, associate member of Veterans for Peace and first Youth Hands of Peace Recipient.
Working the Land
There will be a talk on organic farming by Aaron Bell and Carly DelSignore of Tide Mill Farm in Washington County. The Bell family members have been working the same land in Edmunds, Washington County since 1765. Aaron and Carly are the 7th generation to sustainably manage their woodlands and blueberry fields and the 8th generation to produce organic foods from their farm.
Potluck!
The Harvest Supper is a potluck dinner. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share made from the bounty of this year’s garden harvest.
