Unitarian-Universalist Church of Bangor, 120 Park St.

Vegetarian potluck followed by Hands of Peace Awards – bring a dish to share!

Suggested donation:  $10, $15 for a family, $5 for students

This year the Peace & Justice Center will present the Hands of Peace award to the Civic Engagement Group, intrepid local activists who, every week for almost two years, have had weekly sit down meetings about the issues that most concern us with the Bangor staff of Senators Susan Collins and Angus King.  The Youth Hands of Peace Award will be presented to our very own Amy Hughes, a passionate organizer and activist who served first as a volunteer, then as paid staff for the Peace & Justice Center for the last several years.

We invite individuals, businesses, and organizations to convey their message of greetings, appreciation, and congratulations to award recipients through ads in the Harvest Supper program booklet.

5.5″ wide x 8″ tall, the program will be shared with supper attendees and posted online.
