Thanks to all who helped us all to renew out hope for a more peaceful and sustainable future at the HOPE Festival: The performers, the presenters, the organizations, the many volunteers and all those who helped to get the word out with media coverage, posting flyers, reaching out to schools and churches and in conversations with friends and all those who came to share their spirit. May we all be energized to continue to build the multi-faceted and long term movement for peace, justice and sustainability!

The HOPE Festival has been an incredible, very positive community offering for the past 15 years. This was the best one ever. No setting is perfect, but I felt that the new setting in the rather new, environmentally constructed Recreation Building was by far the best. With an hour to go, we were down to our last 30 programs, so I know that we had a huge crowd. Dedicated people always do a great job, but this seemed to be the best organized HOPE Festival with great pre-Festival stories and other publicity, very dedicated and responsible volunteers, and a wonderful diversity of informative and encouraging offerings. This always confirmed to me why the Peace and Justice Center plays such an invaluable role in our community and in making a difference.

    Hello Eric,

Do you plan to put up photos from the HOPE Festival? I know there were a bunch of people taking pictures and it would be nice to see some of them. Just a thought. Thanks.

It just takes time to process stuff. If somebody would like to work on this, great. Meanwhile I do have some video that’s just about ready…

I would love to know how many folks turned out for this event. Are there any numbers?
