Saturday, April 26th from 11 AM to 4 PM
at the U Maine Student Recreation & Fitness Center, Orono Maine
Since this is the 20th anniversary of the HOPE Festival we are taking a look at the issues and efforts that we’ve focused on over the past 20 years. One aspect of this plan is to create a visual retrospective of these years as well as an opportunity for people to project forward as to where we need to place our efforts in the next 20 years: A 20/20 Vision, looking back and ahead.
A team at the Peace & Justice Center has been compiling HOPE Festival programs, photos, news clippings, etc. for our display. If you have anything to contribute bring them to the Center.
We’re especially interested in bumper stickers and pins to display that reflect the 20 years of the festival. You can bring those to the Center as well. Please call first (942-9343) to make sure there is someone at the Center when you plan to drop by. If you get the answering machine, please leave a message and we will get back to you to arrange a mutually workable time. Read on for more great ways to support the festival!
