ACT VIII: New Strategies for Organizing in the Obama Era

Place: Unitarian Universalist Church, 120 Park Street, Bangor
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Saturday March 21

Keynote: Joseph Gerson, Director of Programs and Director of the Peace and Economic Security Program for the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) in New England

We’ll have panels and workshops with Maine Activists on Building the Grassroots Movement for Change in Health Care, Labor, Environment & Foreign Policy.

The event is free and open to the public.

    What a great flyer for the Active Community Teach-in on March 21. The flyer is more aesthetically interesting and thought provoking than the many national flyers I see. And the site gets better and better. Very impressive. Keep up the deeply-appreciated and really important peace and justice work.
